The Orientator is a machine integrated in the bottles or tanks conveying line and it allows the rotation of the containers according to the required specifications in order to assure the containers correct entrance in the down-stream machine. The orientator is made up of a stainless-steel structure and of many conveyor modules. The modules are equipped with Table-Top modular chain that allows the movement of the bottles/tanks.
The machine is equipped with legs that must be bolted to the floor. The container orientation is based on the container shape recognition. Vetromeccanica offers V or F OrienTech Systems. V indicates that the recognition takes place by means of camera systems. F indicates that the recognition takes place by means of a photocell.
According to the container features and to the requested speed, the Orientator system is equipped with brushless motors and customized clamps with fast release mechanism for format changeover or with rubberized side gripped dosing belt.
Vetromeccanica Orientators are customizable with: Entry-Exit systems with vacuum conveyor for empty and unstable containers, Container ejection system with “soft or push” technology, Electrical panel in painted iron or in Stainless Steel.
The Orientator operation cycle
The operating cycle of the orientator is as follows:
The bottles/tanks arrive to the machine by means of an up-stream conveyor and are conveyed towards the infeed.
The containers pass inside the machine through a rubberized side gripped dosing belt that allows to distance them and then a camera/photocell detects the handle placement.
If the container is oriented in the wrong direction, a clamp is activated that allows the rotation of the container.
The bottle/container continues its movement inside the machine where photocells detect the eventual bottle falling.
In case of a container falling, a pneumatic ejection device is activated that pushes the bottle in the discarded items box.
Tanks can be supplied to collect waste liquids resulting from water lubrication or washing operations.
HORIZONTAL CAPS STERILIZER “TILTING”
The system is designed to allow the bottle cap sterilization by using the filling liquid. Thanks to the conveyors body guides, the bottles are positioned on a side on a chain with inserts that keeps them in a horizontal position for the time required for sterilization and then repositions them vertically.
The length of the device varies according to the line characteristics and the contact time required between the liquid and the cap.
Lower closure in the entrance and exit areas made with electro-welded stainless-steel mesh.
VERTICAL CAPS STERILIZER “OMEGA”
The system is designed to allow the bottle cap sterilization by using the filling liquid. The bottles are moved vertically by means of a chain with rubberized inserts that keeps them in position. The whole system is adjustable in width by manually.
The bottle gripping side guides are made with elastomer gripper chains that hold the containers while the height change is performed. The system is protected according to CE standards, complete with entrance and exit tunnels.
The Air Rinser is the machine designed for the removal of dust and particles from the handled containers. The jars/pots are overturned by means of a double pad chain, are hold laterally and conveyed in the upper area of the machine for the cleaning.
Afterwards, the jars are carried in the lower part of the machine and are released on the outfeed conveyor.
The dust removal takes place inside the air rinser by means of an air blade. The Air Rinser can manage different formats of containers.
